Katriona Taylor is an International jazz singer/songwriter whose music is soulful and evocative, with strong melodies and tender lyrics. One of the best jazz vocalists on the UK scene today, Katriona works with only the very best musicians, excelling in high quality entertainment that appeals to a wide range of audiences. She performs jazz, latin and funk compositions as well as her own original songs and creatively reworks the jazz standards, with a remarkable knack for making the old classics sound fresh.

This last 12 months have been exciting, with gigs at Ronnie Scott’s Club, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the London Jazz Festival as well as at numerous jazz clubs. Katriona’s album Blind Passion hit the top 100 USA jazz albums chart and she was also invited to host her own jazz radio program.

Katriona is at home on the intimate stages of the UK’s top jazz clubs or at large International festivals. She has opened for the legendary George Benson and the James Taylor Quartet amongst others. Her music has received multiple plaudits & airplay and rave reviews, as well as being featured on BBC National radio and JazzFM.

Tonight Katriona brings her talents to Piano Smithfield, performing a selection of her favourite jazz, soul and Latin songs, accompanied by her top-class musicians.
