Join Katriona in her passion for Singing

We’ve all got to start somewhere and wherever you are on your singing journey, join Katriona in her passion for singing. If you are looking for inspiration, come to one of Katriona’s workshops, courses, masterclasses or book a private lesson.

Ten years ago, under the banner of Sing for Pleasure, Katriona began vocal workshops and one-to-one singing lessons. These have become very popular and there are now a variety of classes on offer which cover music genres such as jazz, musical theatre, gospel and pop. Katriona is ideally placed to provide singers with training & performance tips, and to help build confidence. She is able to develop student’s all round singing ability, dealing with every aspect from anxiety & nerves to breath control, posture, phrasing & diction.

Group Singing Leader

Katriona has many years experience in teaching choirs including ‘a cappella’ and arranging harmonies. She has an inspiring and high energy outlook ideal for leading singing sessions of large and small groups and she is available as a guest or cover teacher. Contact Katriona

Tailored Singing Services

Why not get together a small group of friends and book Katriona to come to your location to teach a workshop? Katriona can teach a fun group singing session at a party or a special occasion, this is a good ice breaker and gets everyone joining in together.

You may want to have a singing lesson to learn a particular song for a special occasion – surprise your friends, family or that special someone.

Improving your Spoken Voice

Katriona can also help you build strength and confidence in your spoken voice for those people having to give presentations as part of their work or speeches at a social event. Learning how to use your breath effectively to support your voice can give you a bigger and more confident sound.

Educational and Community Singing Workshops

Katriona has taught workshops in schools and community organisations such as The Expert Patients Programme for the NHS. The workshops are creative and everyone has a chance to interact and connect with each other.

Breathing exercises, gentle stretching, vocal warm ups and games are just some of the tools utilised as a background to collective song. Self-consciousness within groups dissipates and gives participants a relaxed environment to have fun regardless of their musical abilities.
