THE LONDON JAZZ FESTIVAL Katriona was added to the select UK and international artists performing at the festival. Legendary British saxophonist Tony Coe guested with Katriona's Band - putting the icing on the cake of superb sell-out show. The band was on fire playing the original material from her latest album "Precious Time" having toured the album. "Her voice is sultry, soulful and well enunciated and as a writer she has a way with a melody. Her excellent musicians lay down a mean soul / jazz / funk groove that complements Taylor’s smouldering vocals superbly. This is the kind of stuff championed by Michael Parkinson". Ian Mann. PORTUGAL Katriona opened for the Jazz/Soul legend George Benson on the Portugal leg of his world tour to audiences of thousands.  "...This lady is an amazing singer, and she gave a great performance at the George Benson Concert in the Algarve", Sir Owen Gee, Kiss FM.  Katriona was interviewed and her original music played on Kiss FM Portugal, broadcasting to the Algarve, Lisbon and on the Internet. MARBELLA, SPAIN Katriona is gaining a reputation on the international scene.  She was recently invited to perform at the launch of the new Bentley GT Cabriolet in Marbella, Spain.  Bulgari sponsored the event at the exclusive Olivia Valere night club, notorious for attracting the rich and famous set in this part of the world, such as, singers like Prince and Mick Jagger, top models like Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss and actors like Bruce Willis. WIMBLEDON INTERNATIONAL TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS Katriona performed in the exclusive Gatsby Club during the Wimbledon fortnight to corporate clients from all over the UK and foreign visitors from all over the world.   The music really set the mood for this art deco themed 1930s champagne club where the hostesses dress in the costume of the period and visitors relax with food and drink and enjoy their surroundings before heading off to watch the tennis.  CANNIZARO PARK FESTIVAL, UK Katriona performed her originals to the crowds at Cannizaro on the main stage at this prestigious outdoor festival.  Katriona and her band were supporting the James Taylor Quartet, who were celebrating their 20th anniversary in the business in style. Check the poster! THE EDINBURGH FRINGE Katriona was invited to perform at one of Edinburgh's best live Jazz venues, an intimate candle lit basement jazz club, Eighty's Jazz Club. She performed with Scotland's finest Jazz musicians, Tom Scott, Kevin Dorian and Owen MacDonald. Edinburgh enjoyed its most successful and busiest Fringe Festival ever this year and no doubt next year will be equally as entertaining. A must event for anyone who is a fan of all types of live entertainment.
